Last night, during the monthly group meeting, we held an awesome Pathfinder 2e adventure under Otari, a small fishing town on the coast of Starstone Isle.
Mostly new Pathfinders and a couple of experienced players took on giant rats, giant spiders, and a small horde of undead skeleton knights in a treacherous cavern of unimaginable danger. Okay, some was imagined, but that's RPG.
Taking damage, giving more, and rolling more fumbles than Crits, the stoic adventureers survived for another day! Loot and treasure, along with excellent experience was found and earned.
Most fun was that everyone was playing a character that they were learning on the spot, finding new abilities and spells as they played. "I've never done this, but I'm going to try it", became the mantra of the group.
We laughed, cursed, and rolled with a vengeance. No better way to spend an evening with friends, causing mayhem and saving the world.
No Pathfinder this coming Monday 5/18, next game Monday 5/25.

Last night wasn't just epic, it was sick!
A human cleric war priest, an elf rogue, and a dwarf witch with her mongoose familiar, Goose, took on the challenge to deliver a wagon of medication and a healer to a plague-ravaged village.
Turns out the unanticipated challenge was to protect the wagon's draft horse from a variety of attacks. Should the draft horse fall, the adventurers would be stuck pulling the wagon themselves, thereby putting the whole mission at great risk.
Thanks to the healing acumen of the team, the horse, though battered, made it to the village, medicine and healer in tow.
The cleric, who sparingly used his 'needle darts' cantrip causied consistent damage.
The witch used some over-the-top spell-casting lobbed fireworks in the middle of a group of road bandits that quickly ended their evil ways.
Besting fever wolves and a spider's nest topped off the hero's efforts for the trip.
Another great evening of Pathfinder adventuring. Thanks to each of the players, Drew, Gary, and Megan, for bringing imagination, great game strategy, and the ability to be flexible in a learning environment.
