Greetings all,
Starting with the next meeting we will be having Game Showcases during the second half of our meetings. These showcases will basically be short scenarios (typically a social/non-combat encounter and a combat encounter) that will highlight each game's mechanics and allow people to see different systems in action. The showcases will use pre-generated characters, so anyone can jump right in. Everyone is encouraged to play, but it is perfectly fine to just watch as well.
For the first meeting, I will be presenting the FFG/Edge Studio's Star Wars RPG, and I believe Mark G, will be presenting Shadowdark.
I put it out to the community, what other games and/or genres would you like to see at a future Game Showcase?
